Last year we had a fantastic gallery from PhotoPivot. We had hoped that we could continue for many years, but it is unfortunately no longer supported and has ceased to operate.

We have therefore chosen to lie all participants' photos on Flickr, where it is possible to post comments to images, share them on such. Facebook osv.
The winners of www.fotomarathon.dk
The winners will be presented at our own website. In addition to seeing winning pictures (read judge comments and see what the prize was), you can also see all 24 topic winners, it is possible to compare the winners 'pictures and you can see all the participants' interpretation of each subject all images on one page).
We have taken the starting point in the gallery we launched in 2010 but ceased in 2011 (da PhotoPivot kom). We are working on it should be easy for future organizers to use the, so we do not each year to consider what we are doing now. But what does our audience?

Super concept – FotoMarathon. Looking forward to participate next year.
Here, in my candid opinion about the site
A photo site is about photography and not everything else. On the front http://www.fotomarathon.dk/ there is too much. White blocks on black background, banners and it is too difficult to find what you are looking for. Duck Spring (Monochrome) or white tone. Not both and. Challenge with dark / colored sites are very graphic and logo is made of white background. With a little Photoshop flair can white background deleted and saved as PNG. In this way seems graphics on all background…

Pros: I agree with the dark background. The images are wildly beautiful even if they are in color. Focus is drawn to the pics and not everything else…
Cons: When I click on an image pops up in new window. It should be shut down and I can then click another picture and shut it down (Set i Chrome). It is oldschool. I found a Light-Box will be top. See here and note that you can run back and forth in the images that are on this page. Close the window with, for example. Esc and leaf in pics with arrow right and left-… http://image.agentura.dk/content/shades-blue
What is the site made in? WordPress, Joomla, Drupal??? If not one of these, I would recommend that in jumps onto one of the platforms. They are all open source and free. My site is created in Drupal…
Last: Taste is very different, but for me it works your logo not. Very 2D'ish and graphics a bit like TV game from 70′erne. Cool Factor is very low in my opinion….
The above sounds a little black, but it is still fat it does and I know it takes viiiiiillllldt laaaaaannnng time to complete trim an interactive database site like yours. Hope you take it as constructive criticism. It is such a thought.
