Øksnehallen in Copenhagen gives all FotoMarathons participants Free admission to lobby exhibition, has just been opened.
On display is a wide selection of images from the great Steve McCurry exhibition, which ran over the summer. And who is so Steve McCurry you might think.
Steve McCurry is the man, Inter alia. took this world famous portrait of the Afghan woman sharbat Gula. The picture described by several days as “fotografiets Mona Lisa”.
Steve McCurras images depicting humans and the living conditions, which they live. His pictures are fascinating, and I went myself and see udstilllingen all 3 times in summer. Steve McCurry is also one of the only 81 Photographers, recorded during Magnum.
He manages to catch an insight into the person's life, a small secret insight, into this fascinating man, as dragons and makes you want to know more. Steve McCurry was also one of the photographers, that was quite close to war in Kuwait and inside at Ground Zero in New York 9/11.

The exhibition runs from d. 23. August to October 2012. Admission is free for FotoMarathons participants, just be sure to bring proof of your participation, which could be your ticket or the participant folds, provided to all participants.
